Hard coal is widely used around the world as a fuel and raw material for metallurgy, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals and domestic use.
Carbon Trading has been mining and selling various types and fractions of hard coal in the European Union and Asia for over 9 years.
Direct representative
Zhalyn coal deposit is located in Zhanaarkinsky district of Ulytau region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The deposit has been in operation since 2009. The licensee for coal mining at Zhalyn is Saryarka-ENERGY LLP.
The total area of the Zhalyn deposit is 4,015 km², and it is mined using the open-pit method.
Coal reserves of the deposit:
– balance sheet – 55.2 million tonnes;
– industrial – 49.1 million tonnes.
Starting from 2022, coal production is 3 million tonnes per year.
Development systems
Based on the mining and geological conditions of the coal seam, it is planned to mine it:
– open-pit mining with the use of a transport system using hydraulic excavators with a bucket capacity of 4-15 m³ and loading into dump trucks with a carrying capacity of 42-45 tonnes.
